Home work is Done!
Paul and I finished our homework today. It is a great relief! We will hold onto it until November when we can start the process again. All we have left to do now is fingerprinting, physicals and a letter from insurance on adoption coverage.

Hi,
I am an adoptive father of two beautiful Chinese girls (now ages 7 ½ and 9) and have also been the past Vice-President of the Board of an adoption agency for many years and understand the trials and tribulations of the various country programs better than most. I currently work with your sister Traci and can be reached through her if you want to chat about some of the aspects and considerations to adoptions that maybe you won’t hear from the different agencies out there. I’d be happy to discuss this with you if you’d like. Just ask Traci to put you in touch with Ken.
June 2006 - Started adoption process. Attended classes and met a wonderful and supportive group of friends at class.

That's what being adopted means.
I didn't come out of my mother.
I don't have my father's green eyes.
No one in my family looks like me.
People are always surprised.
I think we're a happier family
Than if we were all kings and queens.
We're so lucky we all found each other.
That's what being adopted means.

Carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us
We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time & miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among usby God's very own hands. -Kristi Larson
