Wait time extended
We found out last week that the wait time between the referral of a child and travel to the country to bring home our child has been extended from 3-4 months to 5-6 (more like 6) months. If given a choice, I would have preferred to wait longer for a referral vs have a referral and get attached to pictures info, etc and then have to wait. 2-3 months longer is a long time to wait when a child is still months old. I keep telling myself, we have waited 3 years so far, what is a few months more in the timeline?
